Arshad Khan, is among key management team member of the Financial Technologies Group, he oversees Middle East and North Africa (MENA) operations for the Group and is a Board Member of DGCX. He plays a key role in formulating and implementing strategic opportunities spanning across the entire spectrum of the Group’s business ventures. Prior to this role, he was heading the communications function of Financial Technologies Group.
Arshad, also a part of key management team at DGCX entrusted with the complete responsibility of setting up DGCX right from inception. The success of DGCX has conveyed that Financial Technologies is capable of replicating the business model of setting up exchanges anywhere in the world. In just 18 months, he has been successful in roping major financial institutions to become members of DGCX. He has ensured that DGCX commenced live operations successfully on the schedule date with sizable volumes on day one and thereon. He is charted with expanding the Group’s presence in the MENA countries like Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, etc. He also oversees the MENA operations of Financial Technologies under the banner of Financial Technologies Middle East (FTME) in Dubai. Under his leadership FTME has successfully rolled out automation solutions for the members of regional exchanges and has also successfully established ‘Financial Technologies Centre for STP Services’ (FT-CSS) in UAE. FT-CSS provides total outsourcing services for the members of regional exchanges.
Arshad is responsible for the Group’s international initiatives and projects requiring exclusive attention. A functional expert in the transaction processing domain, he has successfully managed digital marketplaces. Over the years, Arshad has visited leading global exchanges and conducted detailed studies of various trading and clearing systems.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration.
